Types Of Sentences.

* A simple sentence contains a subject and a
verb
* It expresses a single complete thought.
* A simple sentence is made of one
independence clause.

* Her dog followed her to school.
* He has three trophies.
* Compound sentences.
* A compound sentence are two independent
Clauses.
* They are conjoined by two conjunctions.
* For, and, nor, but, or, yet, so.
* The players ran on to the field, but the
referee refused to start the game.
* You can go to the dance, or you can stay
home and watch a movie.
* Complex Sentence
* A complex sentence contains an independent
clause and a dependent clause.
* Dependent clauses begin with subordinating
conjunctions.
* Compound complex sentences.
* Although the game had already started
